Keep it simple stupid Intro for my YouTube video.

October 29, 2017 |

If you have a 10-second intro in your video chances are good somebody is going to pass you by and not even gather the information you are trying to convey to them.

Should I make a 10-second intro? Absolutely Not. I would say no. Keep it simple stupid.

That’s my personal opinion because I’ve bought, for example, lots of courses and when you go thru say 20 or 30 videos of that course with the same intro it gets so stupidly boring. So keep it stupid simple.

It’s just that way, use a 3 to 5-second intro. I would not go any further than 5 seconds. 5 sec is plenty to bore somebody with if they are going to watch a series of your videos or you Expect them to watch a series of your videos. You should keep it stupid simple. I rephrase that because back in the day it was Keep it Simple, Stupid. Actually, it was “KISS – Keep It Simple Salesman.”

So it would probably be a good idea to go with a 3-second intro. Keep it short. YouTube recommends it as well.
